Your best bet is to play through the storyline. That way you'll gain money, levels and get there eventually. Since you don't know the way i'm assuming this is your first character so following the storyline will probably be more useful than trying to get there on your own at level 10.

Lol, running isn't the only way, it's the least beneficial, you could play through the story...You need to do The Great Northern Wall, Ruins of Surmia, Fort Ranik, Nolani Academy, Borlis Pass, The Frost Gate and Gates of Kryta to get to Lions Arch. None of these mission are too difficult or long.

People who get run there are those who've been through the game a time or 2. There are very few benefits to get run to LA, and those few mainly aren't avaliable to people with no gold. The only exception to this are the big holiday events that are held there. The good news for you is that you've got LOTS of time to play your way to LA before one of these comes up (I don't think there's one 'til Halloween.)

But, back to the original question. You've already been given some good advice. Runs are primarily for folks that have already played thru the storyline 2 or 3 times and just want to get their 4th character to the "good stuff" early. If you have never been to Yak's Bend or LA before, then don't try to skip it. You have many towns yet to discover and enjoy. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and story along the way. I know Ascalon can be a depressing place, but you'll like the snowy mountains coming up better. |

The only useful reason (that I can think of) people run to LA from Ascalon is that (if you have Factions), you can get max defense armor at Keineng Center. This is also an easier run than the Droks forge run.
Edit: and you can get heros, if you go to Elona. |

i dont think you shud be getting run ther at that lvl the monsters around there are lvl 20s i think you wont be able to do any missions or quests
i would do quests and work out your strongest build or you could farm charr(go out and kill charr) you get alot of items that you sell and alot of items you can savage to get crafting matirials and sometimes rare crafting materials to make money to get run there but you will die easly wen you are out doing missions and quests there people are chrging 3k 4 that run becasue it takes a long time and it gose through i think 3 diffrent missions on the way? and some of them people are most ikely scammers who get the money then map travle out leaving you with less g nd vonurable 2 monsters hope i have helped |

We celebrated the Chinese New Year, so why not the 4th! We also had a mini St. Patrick's Day celebration. Is this holiday celebrated world wide or just in Ireland? The USA really doesn't celebrate St. Patrick, we just want green beer.
every 1 thinks st-patrics day is mint 1 because im catholic nd 2nd u can drink bear in public nd police dont realy care we celebrated Chinese new year in cantha. the Chinese continent. chinese new year always has missions which give you alot of gold, exp, fun holiday items, masks nd new fun games as well if you hag around ascalon to long it dose get realy boring so do the missions Great Northern Wall, Ruins of Surmia, Fort Ranik, Nolani Academy, Borlis Pass, The Frost Gate and Gates of Kryta to get to Lions Arch. None of these mission are too difficult or long that quote will b one of the best ideas like i done it nd it wasnt hard becasue there are alot of lvl 20s offering help for free nd some anoing 1ns that are deperate 4 money nd put an over prised price on ti |

But anyway, for all those who don't know A.net DID celebrate July 4th last year. It was called the Dragon Festival and was the aniversary of Shiro's betrayal. It was held on July 4th weekend last year. |
